We'll have our first meetings in a long time in October. The first (#14) will be held on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2nd at 7pm. We will be a screening the film Slap Shot. Allan plays Johnny Upton, so we'll get a bit of a directors cut. As it stands Ross and Jeff's house is the venue, but we'd love to find an alternate location. Suggestions anyone?

The second (#15), to be held on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16th, will be a seasonal Octoberfest party. We'll carve up some pumpkins, tap a keg of GIS Red Ale that Ross and I brewed over the summer, etc. This will be at Ross and Jeff's.

Looking forward to both...may try to bring the little one to the pumpkin carving if that's okay with everyone.
i have class until 7:30 tomorrow, so you may not see my smiling face at the slap shot viewing. i wouldn't want to come in late and interrupt and cause a scene. or who knows...maybe i'll decide that's exactly what i want to do. it's hard to predict these things.
either way, i will definitely be at the octoberfest celebration. i think it would be great to switch up the venue for this celebration (no offense ross and jeff-your house is great), but of course i have no good suggestions. my apartment is not quite a good choice and i tried to nominate a house other than mine but, i was vetoed due to technical difficulties (like the water and electricity are going to be shut off...minor details.) so, i am counting on one of you to have a great idea.
It was great last night...reliving a period of my life that I do not want to forget...thanks for doing it.
